Walid El Azab

Co-founder and Managing Director of QP Pro Services and QPM Consulting, Walid El Azab brings 17+ years of experience in Quality, GMP, GxP, and Regulatory Compliance across pharma, biotech, ATMPs, cell & gene therapies, and medical devices. Recognized as a senior expert in Contamination Control Strategy (CCS), sterility assurance, aseptic processing, and inspection readiness, he is known for his strategic mindset and his ability to deliver high-impact, tailored solutions grounded in real manufacturing constraints.
As an Acting QP/RP, he has supported global organizations through successful inspections by US FDA, EMA, WHO, ANVISA, MHRA, AFMPS, and PIC/S, with strong auditing exposure across CMOs, API manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners. He contributes to industry knowledge through guideline-focused work on sterilization, CCS, validation, APS/media fills, and aseptic process control; serves on the PDA Journal editorial board; collaborates with PDA, ECA, A3P, and EIPG; and sits as a Board Member of A3P Middle East.
Committed to education, he lectures at the Universities of Brussels and Liège and co-founded the QP Academy to train the next generation of QPs. Beyond pharma, he led APEDAF and supports King Baudouin Foundation disability initiatives, reflecting long-term commitment to inclusivity and social impact.
